Mission


The Pleasant Hill Public Library serves residents of Pleasant Hill and the surrounding area. The mission of the library is to provide quality library services that meet the informational needs of all segments of the community in a welcoming, professional, and courteous manner.

Halloween Party

The annual Halloween party will be held on Friday, October 27th from 6:30 to 8 pm at the Doanes Park Youth Center. Cosponsored with the Park and Recreation Department, this event is a yearly favorite with games, prizes, candy and fun! No registration is necessary for this family event. Wear a costume if you would like or come as you are. See you then!

STEM Classes


Through November, STEM family nights are held on the fourth Monday of each month at 6 pm. The entire family is invited to attend, snacks will be provided and everyone will have the chance to participate in hands-on activities. For more information or to preregister, contact the library. Ebooks, Online Audio and Magazines


The library has access to tens of thousands of Ebooks and online audio books. Click on the Online Resources/Ebooks link for more information. 

We also have online access to seventy different magazines. Once you download magazines, they are yours to keep! Contact the library for the access code to MagNet to download magazines. Do not use your library card number. It will not allow you to set up an account!
