Mission


The Pleasant Hill Public Library serves residents of Pleasant Hill and the surrounding area. The mission of the library is to provide quality library services that meet the informational needs of all segments of the community in a welcoming, professional, and courteous manner. 
 
Library Resources
 

STEM Classes

Through August, classes being held at the library on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 4 pm for grades 3-5 for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) activities. STEM family nights are held on the fourth Monday of each month at 6 pm. The entire family is invited to attend, snacks will be provided and everyone will have the chance to participate in hands-on activities. For more information or to preregister, contact the library. Online Magazines


The library now has online access to seventy different magazines. A consortium of libraries, Central Iowa MagNet, has been established to provide access to our patrons. Once you download magazines, they are yours to keep!

Contact the library for the access code to MagNet. Do not use your library card number. It will not allow you to set up an account!
