Get involved! Have a voice in city government! Apply to be on a City Board or Commission!

City board or commission

Serving on a City of Pleasant Hill board or commission is one way members of the community can volunteer and get involved in their city government. Their activities help shape and influence public policy, but some also hear appeals, provide expertise, advocate, receive public concerns, or establish, review, and enforce policies and regulations. Appointments to Pleasant Hill city boards and commissions are made by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council.

View the list of active board and commission members, and a description about what the responsibilities entail.

Below are the vacancies on the following city boards and commissions.

To indicate your interest in serving on a board or commission please complete an application form and return it to City Hall, 5160 Maple Drive, Pleasant Hill, IA 50327.
