The Parks & Recreation Commission consists of seven members, which advises the Council on plans for parks and recreation and their facilities.
The primary duties of the Commission are to:
Investigate and encourage leisure programs and facilities.
Promote health, welfare, and well-being of citizens.
Adopt policies and regulations for Parks & Recreation.
Advise the Council on Parks & Recreation plans.
Report to the Council on past activities and future recommendations.
Meetings
The Parks & Recreation Commission meets on the 2nd Thursday of every month at 6 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 5160 Maple Drive in Pleasant Hill.
