On Tuesday, November 10, 2020, Robert Endriss, Audit Manager with Denman & Company presented the City of Pleasant Hill’s annual audit for the fiscal year 2020. The audit produced a clean opinion with no material weaknesses. The City did not exceed the budget in any functional areas.
“The City of Pleasant Hill is in a good financial situation and the elected officials can have confidence in city staff knowing no financial statement adjustments or control changes need to be made,” says Robert Endriss.
The report found the City in good financial standing. The City carries a general obligation bond rating of Aa3 assigned by a national rating agency to the City’s debt. This allows City Council to make sound financial decisions.
