A demonstration area will be available to show how compost is applied to a lawn after aeration and how this benefits the watershed and your lawn. The deadline is approaching to apply to be on a Board or Commission

Members of the community can volunteer on a Board or Commission and get involved in their city government. These activities help shape and influence public policy, and some also hear appeals, provide expertise, advocate, receive public concerns, or establish, review, and enforce policies and regulations. Appointments to Pleasant Hill city boards and commissions are made by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council.

There will be vacancies on the following city boards and commission, beginning July 1, 2016. Applications are being accepted through May 31, 2016.
